As a nationally ranked triathlete and TEAM USA member, Mark enjoys training and competing with high-level athletes. However, he also enjoys his role as a coach to guide age group athletes to their goals. He has helped a range from first-time triathletes all the way to others reaching the podium at Ironman branded events. He often leads clinics and does private coaching with an emphasis on using data and training tools to eliminate training mistakes and maximize racing potential.
Mark is the Associate Director of the Human Performance Assessment Core (HPAC) at Marquette University, Mark is responsible for VO2max w/ lactate analysis, submaximal, anaerobic performance, body composition, and bone density scanning.
Mark has been teaching undergraduate lab courses in the Department of Physical Therapy, Program in Exercise Science at Marquette University since the fall of 2014.
He received his M.S. from Marquette University’s Clinical and Translational Rehabilitation Health Science (CTRH) graduate program in 2016. He focused on team-based aerobic exercise interventions (triathlon, cross-country running, and mountain biking.
